Tekst Widgets non compatible with latest WP update?

  • Hi Guys,

    Since the last WordPress Update I am having problems with the Tekst Widget. I needed to change the code on one of the widgets, but it refuses to save the new code. It keeps ‘saving’…

    I learned that many themes have this problem and an update is needed for the theme to be compatible with the WP 4.5.1. version.

    Anyone any suggestion or do I just need to wait for the update (and is this update to be expected any time soon)?

    Hi,

    I tested this theme with WordPress 4.5.1, but I haven’t noticed any issues with widgets. Does the Text widget work correctly if you switch to the default Twenty Sixteen theme please?

    I recommend you to deactivate ALL installed plugins to check whether there isn’t a plugin conflict causing this problem. If this does not help, please try to install the W3 Total Cache plugin and empty all caches as described in this article.
