• I set up my website using the Tempera theme with WordPress. I went into the Tempera Settings and changed the “Misc” text which showed at the bottom of the pages. When I did, all my background colors changed. Previously I had played with the colors under Tempera Settings and got it so messed up I had hostgator restore to my backup. But after the restore was done, the only thing I changed in the Tempera Settings was this Misc text.
Can anyone tell me what happened, why and now how to I fix?
    my website is: dorothyturk.com
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks, Dottie

Colors in the theme settings don’t change by themselves. And in case you make some changes you don’t like there’s a ‘Reset Settings to Defaults’ button on the Tempera settings page that restores things back to normal. You don’t have to bother your hosting service for this.

    Good luck!

Thanks, I can’t believe I missed that! So EASY!
I tried going into the Theme Settings page and putting in some “wild” colors just to see what would happen. After I saved I don’t see any changes. If I select a color on the Customize menu item does that override the Theme settings? Because I do have that set also.
    Thanks for your help. ??
