Thank You Thank You Thank You! So much!

After many tries between godaddy and Template Monster and their help files I have installed it here: LNflybaby.com. So I kinda got it working but I am not sure how to add new info. I don’t need to have any comments right now from people. I want the 10 pictures in the front to stay the same. I want to be able to add travel news correctly and I want the I’ve been Everywhere menu to upload a gallery for each trip. And how do I get my Admin picture changed. Well, hahahaha I hope you understood all those questions. Not sure I even did! Thanks again.

Here is the old site I want to incorporate

I’m not getting paid for this so there is no money to pay for help. But I can send you some seeds or worms from my garden. freidasgarden.com

Sorry, but we will be unable to provide assistance for this Theme. It does not appear that the Theme is distributed under a GPL-compatible license, based on the “Terms of Use” page on the site you linked. Have you consulted Template Monster for support?

Who is we? I thought this forum was open to the public?

I was appealing to the public in hopes someone else might have that theme. Is there a problem with that?

GPL-compatible license? I bought it through the godaddy site for $45.00 where I also uploaded wordpress.

Yes, as a matter of fact. While these forums are open to the public, they are still subject to www.ads-software.com policy, that prohibits support for non-GPL Themes and Plugins.

GPL-compatible license? I bought it through the godaddy site for $45.00 where I also uploaded wordpress.

And that is another reason we can’t help: this is a commercial Theme.

tellushow – The WordPress forums do not support products that are incompatible with the GPL.

You know that is just wrong! I’m just trying to make it work. Then this is not a public forum if you are telling me whats I can or can not ask the public. What a joke! So if you like having word press on godaddy.com but then tell me that I can’t ask questions about the template I bought on godaddy.com where I installed your program wordpress on godaddy.com. it seems like you have a problem with godaddy.com com then right? How is the average user suppose to know all of this. Maybe your company ought to rethink their attitude towards the end user and stop being so anal! If you represent Word Press then maybe you ought to bring this up in a meeting. Title it: How to NOT kill a customer!

You deleted the person who was trying to help me posts. What are you doing here? Wow, this is just wrong!! Hitler would have liked this!

I’m going to enjoy FBooking’ing this to my friends. No one will believe this!

Nobody here is representing WordPress. Even the moderators are volunteers.

If someone has designed and sold a theme that is not compatible with the licence that keeps WordPress free for everybody to use, it’s their job to support it. It’s a public forum but like any other public forum, there are rules. Once of the rules on this forum is that nobody supports commercial cash-ins on WordPress. Another is that nobody trolls for paid work.

Yes, we get that, and sympathize. But Chip and Ipstenu are right and that’s not supported here.

but then tell me that I can’t ask questions about the template I bought on godaddy.com

You purchased that from GoDaddy, we don’t have access to that, and we don’t support it here. How is that a surprise?

The link to that support is apparently here.

    https://info.template-help.com/cms-blog-templates/wordpress/wordpress-tutorials/

If you have an issue with their support, take it up with them.

Maybe your company ought to … How to NOT kill a customer!

You’re upset, but understand that this is a 100% volunteer forum. Just like yourself none of us are paid to be here. We do it out of the goodness of our hearts. Truly.

If there is something else directly related to WordPress that we (us volunteers) can assist you with then please post a new thread.

But for supporting a non-GPL commercial theme, this is the wrong place to ask.
