    Hi all,

I think this is one of the most kind of question but I am new in wordpress and I have to change some things in a existing project. In this project there are no plugins for caching etc. installed.

What is the problem? My working steps to repeat:
    1. I open the specific theme template with SpeedCommander
    2. I change anything inside
    3. I save my changes
    4. Upload through SpeedCommander to the FTP server
    5. My browser cache is cleared and DISABLED while opened the developer tools.

If I refresh my page by “STRG + r” (also multiple) no changes are shown.
What can I do to edit and update my project in browser?

I do not found any cached templete files in any wordpress directories.

    Hope for tipps.

    Best regards,
    Mario

    A few things to consider:

*is SpeedCommander an S/FTP client or something else?
*sounds like you are making changes to the theme template files — is there any possibly that you might have 2 WordPress installations in your file manager?
*which company is providing your webhosting service – have you contacted the webhosting to ask about the situation?
*are you using a parent and child theme or editing a custom theme?
*can you provide an example of some of the template filesnames are you trying to edit?
