Template for Contact Page

  • I like the templates you already have included like the 404 and others. There does not seem to be one for a Contact Page? Or perhaps that’s not a common practice to have included for a themes template, since the Contact Form will use a Plugin anyway?

    Hi there,

    We are currently not sure what would be the best approach for that because most of the contact form plugins we know store the contact form data outside of the patterns and so it won’t work.

    But if anyone has any ideas regarding how we could approach this, then please let us know.

    For other users: I solved this by creating a new “Contact Page”, using a template/styling you had available in the theme (it had a map and some contact options below it), and added Contact Form 7, that I then wrote “Additional CSS” for in the Customising -> “Additional CSS” editor. That works well, if you know how to write or edit CSS code. There are examples online for how to style Contact Form 7.

    If there was an easy copy and paste images into this support page, I could show examples too, but you have to upload images to FTP or something to be able to insert images to www.ads-software.com/support is seems ;-/

    That would be nice if www.ads-software.com added support for that directly here. But in the meantime, you can use a service like this https://imgur.com/ for image uploads.
