Template for sub-categorys

i have a problem with the template for subcategorys.

i have a parent-category “drinks” here i have several subcategorys, for some reason i need the category “drinks” in a custom template.
herefore i have use the woocommerce/taxonomy-product_cat.php file and have rename this to “taxonomy-product_cat-drinks.php” everything work as i want as long for the products in category “drinks”, as soon when making sub-categorys from “drinks”,the subcategorys use the default template.

how can i achieve that all subcategorys from “drinks” use the template “taxonomy-product_cat-drinks.php”

I guess to put code in my child theme functions.php but have no idea how to do this
