Template for travelpages or a database?

I’m trying to convert my old website (www.lamboo.com) to WordPress. The main is writing about my travels. The travelpages are all in html en Jalbum.
I looking for a standard page to us.
Most travels consist of a short text and data (travelmates, date, destination) in the top. Thereunder sometimes a routemap, sometimes an extended traveloque and always a photoalbum.
The pictures are the easy part, NGGallery. Maybe i can use this for de routemap too. But how the travelogue, word?, pdf, html.

Any idea’s? For my old travelpage see https://www.lamboo.com (right side).
Is string all data in a database an option. I can make a database with everything in it, by displaying data in WordPress is new for me.
MAybe someone has an example or can build it (for a fee).
