Template “home” with static homepage

    Hello!
    When I use a static homepage I guess the template “home” is responsible for the appearance of the startsite and only for the startsite. Isn’t it?
    It doesn’t work for me.

    Sorry … I think, it was a mistake with my translation. Now I know, that the “Template Home” is only for a website starting with “last posts”.
    I am not sure, if everything is right, but I have found a working solution for my problem:

    • to get a template for the static “Home page” I have to create a new template “frontpage” in “Templates” as I want to have it- it is only possible for the frontpage.
    • with “Quickedit” I select the Template “frontpage”.
