Template in 3.2 won't show up…using WooTheme's Sealight

I’ve been looking through the forums and codex trying to find a solution to my issue, with no luck, so maybe someone knows another trick I can use…

I’ve created a new template based off of an existing template, and changing the beginning code to this:

/*
Template Name: Author Page
*/
?>

But once I uploaded it via FTP to my theme’s directory, it won’t show up in the drop down menu when I’m creating a page. The rest of the page code has been untouched (at least until I can start using it), so I don’t think that’s the problem. I’ve tried deactivating my theme to the default and back again as I’ve read others do, but that’s not resolving my problem.

I’m running WP 3.2 and using WooTheme’s Sealight theme. This is a project I picked up that someone else started, but I’m on a tight deadline, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
