I have a problem with elementor template, checked from different browsers and devices. I don’t use any cache plugin and nginx caching is turned off on my server.

I created it and imported it for two pages. That is, I have only two pages on the site. For both pages I use this one template.

When I make a change to the template, this change is not displayed on the pages although it is in the template. For example, I use Nextgen Widget and when I added new images in Netgen Gallery, they are not visible on the pages. Same problem I have with Image Carousel, shortcode or any elementor widgets.

Every time I have to re-import the template on the pages after each change so that the changes are displayed on the pages.

Is that how it should be? With the same result, I could just make changes directly on the pages, why do I need a template then?

  • Hi,

Regarding the issue with the Nextgen Widget, please contact the plugin’s support.

Regarding the issue that your changes do not appear online-
    try this guideline:

Make sure you are using the most updated versions of Elementor, WordPress & your theme. Sometimes it isn’t apparent that there is an update available. Go to Dashboard > Updates and click the Check Again button to be sure. (Make sure to back up your site).

Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard. (Make sure to back up your site).

Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard.
Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.

Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, server cache (if possible).

If the issue persists, deactivate all plugins apart from Elementor. If this helps, reactivate them one by one to find the culprit.

If it didn’t help, switch your theme (temporarily) to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Sixteen and see if it makes any difference.

From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Elementor > Settings > Experiments. Change all of the experiments to Inactive. Click Save Changes.
