Template override issue

    Hi there,
    A template out of date notice appeared after updating to Woo 9.0.0, so I updated the overridden add-to-cart template using the new version.

    However I’m still seeing the out of date notice, even though the template now has:

    @version 9.0.0

    Any idea why it might not be updating the overrides status?

    I’ve cleared my cache, but it doesn’t seem to have made any difference.

    Update: Actually as a test I’ve just deleted the template override from my child theme, and it still shows up in the overrides list and is still listed as out of date?!

    Hi @japenz

    It seems like you’ve done most of the troubleshooting steps correctly, including updating the template and clearing your cache. However, the issue you’re experiencing might be due to the server-side caching or a caching plugin if you have one installed.

    Please try to clear your server cache or disable any caching plugins temporarily to see if the issue resolves. Also, head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:

    • WooCommerce transients – Clear
    • Expired transients – Clear
    • Clear template cache – Clear
    • Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    • Clear customer sessions -Clear

    Thanks for getting back to me.
    I was able to resolve the issue by going through the ‘WooCommerce → Status → Tools’ options.
