    Hello,

very promising plugin – thanks for making this available free of charge – definitely thinking about upgrading to pro!

    Quick questions:

    Template overrides:
How can I change the front-end templates without having the changes destroyed by any future updates of the plugin? Can I move any of the template files in the plug-in directory to the child-theme folder and then modify them?

    Order of Jobs:
How can I change the order of the jobs as they appear on the front end?

Thanks in advance and I am looking forward to hearing from you!

    Hi @andi_sf,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes. You can easily override the templates without any issue when the plugin gets updated. For example, if you want to customize the job detail page:

1.Go to WP Job Openings Settings > Appearance > Job Detail Page. Then select, Job detail page template as Plugin Template. Then click Save Changes.
    2. Go to your current theme folder(we recommend child theme) and create a folder named wp-job-openings. After that, copy the single-job.php template from WP Job Openings plugin: wp-job-openings/inc/templates/single-job.php. Then, paste it there. After that, you can start customizing the template.

You can follow the above steps for customizing all other templates. You can even customize the form layouts!

Order of Jobs: You can use the ‘Post Types Order’ plugin for customizing the order of the jobs (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-types-order/). Also, we will be adding custom jobs order functionality to our pro plugin in any one of our upcoming releases.

    Regards,
