template page and sidebar

  • hello, I would like to use a template that handles a page with sidebar but, unlike TT4, on TT5 there is not. How can I find or create such a template? Thanks

    Hi @pakipress
    You can copy the code from the template in TT4 to a new custom page template but you may need to adjust spacing etc to your liking.

    There are also templates for single posts with sidebars. If you copy these to a custom page template, you may want to remove things like the post tags that are not used for pages.

    please bear with me but I don’t have a lot of skills.
    Where can I find the code to copy?
    Unfortunately, on TT5 there are no templates that also have the side bar (I don’t understand why since TT4 has two: “Page with sidebar” and “Single article with sidebar”)
