• Like the title says these pages are redirecting(?) to the home page on mobile.. whether I click on the page in the mobile menu or paste the link in. Any speculation why this could be happening? Thank you!!

Just following up on this. I’ve rolled back the plugin to 1.2.9 on the production site and it now appears to be working: https://www.smithpaints.com/

Here is the staging site with the latest version where it is not working: https://www.smithpaints.com/staging/2044/

You can find links to these templated pages in the menu.. other non templated pages work fine and do not redirect. Thanks!

    Hi @tatummatlock

The templates were never meant to be used in the navigation menu or displayed publicly. However, a bug allowed this, and it also allowed the templates to be indexed by search engines.
We have fixed this issue in 1.2.11
You can open the template to preview, but for that you need to be logged in as admin. And if you are not logged in, it will redirect to home page.

Same is happening in your case. It is not a device based, on mobile you are not logged, that’s why it is redirecting to home.

@anandau14 ouch.. I just realized what I’m working with now.. this was done by a client who did not know how templating works.. Any idea/recommendation of how I can fix this which doesn’t involve rebuilding 200+ “pages” (templates).. and then I guess also setting up redirects? Yes, they are using this for 200+ pages!! Anyway thanks for your help I don’t know why I didn’t put 2 and 2 together. I haven’t used elementor/a page builder in a while. I also never thought I’d see something like this lol.

200 pages!! That’s going to be tricky and a lot of work as well.

You will have to create the pages and import the template there. We do not have the functionality to import AE Templates directly into the pages, so you will first have to save AE Templates as Elementor templates and then import them on your newly created page.
Read more about saving a page as template

Another options is to create the page and add the shortcode of respective AE Template to the page. But in this method you pages will still remain dependent on the templates.

For redirection, you can use any redirection plugin of your choice. Most of the SEO plugins also provide such functionalities.

Let me know if you have any further queries.
