Hi, I’m using WordPress 3.3.1. When using a custom menu, under the Page Attributes the Parent and Order show up, but the Template selector is missing. I’m using a blank theme for start. My template can’t be selected due to the missing option. When switching back to the default theme all it’s back into place. I deactivated and reactivate my theme, but the problem is still there. What am I doing wrong?

Then there is a problem in your current theme – not WordPress.

thank you esmi.. you were right.. found the problem.. was the path.. embarrassing enough, due to a moment of distraction I’ve put the template file in the wrong location while it should have been here: /wp-content/themes
