Template/ theme editor broken?

    Hey everyone,

    So I’m trying to edit my theme through the admin dashboard…but it seems like its not having any effect on the php files and th source code is not changing….if somebody knows where the code is that makes this happen in the theme, or if its a problem with my wp installation…thanks!

    on some hosts, to be able to edit files through the editor, the file needs to have chmod of 666 to save it

    update: ok so i manually changed the files with ftp and the source code stayed the same…..whats the problem now? on my server? but widgets work fine….?_?<——–confused
