    Hello Hannes,
If the glob() setting is yes, and more importantly (since this uses the same methods), the PDF templates placed in the plugin folder do show up, it should be able to detect the template in your theme too.

    Two questions:

    • Just to be 100% sure: Is the “yourtheme” folder actually the theme you are using? The instructions on the Template settings page under “Choose a template” are more precise, make sure this matches exactly. Note that if you cannot have the same name for two templates, the “yourtemplate” name needs to be unique (call it “Hannes 1”, “Hannes 2” etc.).
    • Did you copy all the files to that location? You can’t copy just one file from the Simple template

Let me know if that helps!

    Hi Ewout,
    1) Yes the template is in wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/woocommerce/pdf/yourtemplate where yourtemplate is given a unique name “Invoice1”
    2) All files from the Simple template are copied to the “Invoice1” folder
Still nothing showing up – seems very strange as no one else has this problem.
Thanks for your help – if you can think of any thing else that might be the cause please let us know.
    Thanks,
    Hannes

    Hello Hannes,
The only thing I can think of now is that there is a typo in the path somewhere, maybe a space before or after pdf, or misspelled “woocommecre”, etc. Other than that I’m flat out of ideas for this issue ??

    Hi Ewout,
Still no luck, checked out all the above.
    Will send you a mail.
    Thanks,

    Problem solved!

It appears that the Avada theme uses a separate path for theme overrides for WooCommerce 2.2 and older, so instead of:
    wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/woocommerce/pdf/yourtemplate

    the path was:
    wp-content/themes/Avada-Child-Theme/woocommerce/compatability/2.2/pdf/yourtemplate

I will add a function in the plugin that will detect this and modify the instructions on the template settings page accordingly.

    Hi Ewout,
Thanks for your help. It is great to get that sorted.
    Brilliant support.
