templates defaulting from migration

i developed a site on a sub-domain from my hosting account and migrated everything to the main area for the live site and when i go into the editor the template drop down defaults to default template. Everything else looks fine and the site displays as should its just that weird problem.

there are almost a hundred pages and i am just trying to see if i can work something out instead of manually going into each page and selecting the template again…

i do have flutter installed as well, im wondering if that is the problem..
