    Hi

I uploaded 2 (1.5) themes called “ShadedGrey” and “aliceblue”. Unfortunatelythey now appear under the broken links in the presentation link.

    ShadedGrey – stylesheet is missing
    aliceblue – template is missing

    Any ideas

    Jeff

Themes have to have at least a stylesheet. In this case they can use the “template” i.e. the index.php file of another theme, if it is referenced to in the head of the stylesheet.
But a template without a stylesheet… Check the download and the upload.

Better yet, look for a working theme.

Well I dunno if it’s the theme. I have the same error message but with a different theme called Quentin. A stylesheet exists, style.css
    Anyone else got an idea?

Which error message? Jeffc quoted two of them ??
Check if the stylesheet has the proper head as decribed here

    Hi

Thank you kindly for your reply.

Would appreciate if you could clarify this:

“if it is referenced to in the head of the stylesheet”

    Kind regards

    Jeff.

As a broader guide – the presentation error messages are a clear indicator of malfunction but not necessarily spot on as to cause. Check caching / close / reopen Wp etc, check heading in css, check template is where it should be. It will be one of those.
