Right now I’m creating a lot of new pages, and I’m not sure yet what the final permalink structure will be; still figuring out the best parent-child relations, regarding SEO.

So I’m moving the pages around quite a lot.

For every move, this plugin seems to create a redirect – which is what it’s intended for. But for now, I’d like to pause or disable the creation of redirects for a few hours/days, till I think I’ve set up my page/permalink structure correctly.

Any way to do this; best practice?

    Cheers,
    Marc

You can disable the monitoring option on the options page.

    Ah, now I see…

Noticed these options before, but the Dutch translation in my Admin area is not correct; therefore the confusion here.

At this page (https://redirection.me/support/options/#monitor) I read:

    – Monitor changes to posts
    – Monitor changes to pages
    – Etc

In my admin area it is translated to:

    – Monitor veranderd naar berichten (which means: Monitor changed to posts)
    – Monitor veranderd naar pagina’s (which means: Monitor changed to pages)
    – Etc

So I thought this was about changes (transformation) from post types to other post types. The correct Dutch translations, in my opinion, should be:

    – Monitor veranderingen aan berichten
    – Monitor veranderingen aan pagina’s
    – Etc

    Or may be:

    – Monitor veranderingen van berichten
    – Monitor veranderingen van pagina’s
    – Etc

Thanks for the reply, and clearification ??

I don’t have any control over the translation, so if you have the time to help improve them they can be found here:
