Temporary logins

Hi there. We’re using Ulitmate Member and, because the set password link wasn’t working, we’ve tweaked the the welcome email to include a password that we’ve manually created as a temporary measure. The idea is people can then use the username and password we’ve created to log in and change their password to something unique.

However, we’d like this to be temporary if possible, so the person won’t be able to continue using the generic password for more than one day. Is there a way we can achieve that, either through Ultimate Member itself or in tandem with another plugin?
