    Hello,

When I inspect a URL of my website in my Google Search Console account, I get a “Temporary processing error” for my sitemap written in the “Page indexing” section.

I’m trying to recrawl one of my blog posts, as I have updated it to a new 2024 version from 2023. However, I already requested indexing for this URL 10 days ago and then 2 days ago again, but Google has still the 2023 version indexed.

Do you know what could be the problem? I have already tried clearing my cache and updated my sitemap.

I don’t want to share my website publicly, but here’s a screenshot from my GSC: https://imgur.com/YpYIEUP

    Hello @andrejdivi,
    ?
    Thank you for contacting support.
    ?
That message from the URL Inspection Tool means that the sitemap wasn’t processed when the URL was crawled initially. This is an error from Google and nothing that you can or need to do to get around the issue.
    ?
It’s important to note that this doesn’t imply an error with the sitemap.
    ?
If you see a temporary issue in the actual sitemap portion of GSC, then that’s something slightly different and it’s explained in the following article from Google:?https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/7451001?hl=en#zippy=%2Csitemap-parsing-errors
    ?
Regarding the screenshot you shared, it shows that the page is indexed and it was last crawled on August 9th this year, so it was crawled recently by Google.
    ?
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
