Term not displayed when Link & tooltip activated

    Wordpress version :WordPress 4.9.8 avec le thème Pinnacle.
    Theme : Pinnacle
    Language : FR

    Hello,

    I am trying the plugin (for the moment only added a term : Arkélite). When the settings of the plugin are on “Link & Tooltip”, the term in the text is missing (not displayed at all I have only “d’.” .

    Selecting only the “link” settings work fine.

    I have already added the CSS for visual composer in case of, but with no success. Any idea ?

  • Often visual composers doesn’t execute the plugin code in the right way, for that reason we don’t support officially them.

    the link (only) work for “Arkélite”.

    If I choose “link” only I get :

    This is part of the bug of 1.6.8 that is fixed with 4.6.9 (released few minutes ago).
    Some themes was getting conflicts with the Firefox Read Mode support.

    Hi, I just made the update and it looks like that your update fixed the bug on Firefox, but created one in Chrome ! ??

    Hi wpman, can you share more information about the issue on Chrome?
    In that way we can test better and in case release a new version with the fix.

    Hi Daniele,

    I don’t have much to say… the links terms where showing, but on mouseover, the tooltips was not showing up.
    Everything was fine with all other major browsers.
    So, I downgraded to 4.6.8 and everything is fine.

    In our tests with Chrome there are no issues, probably there is something that conflicts with your theme and to understand better the issue I need a page with the problem (also with 1.6.8)

    We have now two websites:
    1 which was our development site
    https://wpmanstage.com/jfval
    1 which is now our live website.
    https://cymbalum-mundi.com

    Both where updated to 1.6.9. and surprisingly, the problem only occurs with the development site, which is a good news for us.

    But if you want to investigate, you can do it with the development site, for which I already gave you access.

    I checked both the website and the dev one doesn’t have the css updated of the 1.6.9, maybe there is a cache system on the site.

    I flushed all the caches, but the problem is still there !

    I also looked at the plugin on the server, and everything is 4.6.9

    So I really don’t know what to say. But anyway, our live site is OK, so that’s fine for me !
