I have installed this plugin in order to help me sort my Custom Taxonomy Terms that I have created for various custom post type. I have read other Support tickets, and found that setting ‘hierarchical’ to true is required in order for this plugin to work. As a result, I did just that.

Even so, when I navigate to the “Taxonomy Order” tabs within my custom post type menus… the page is rendered with no terms. Even though I do have terms saved in my DB. In addition, I had to disable the “auto” discovery settings in order to get my previously created “taxonomy” terms to show up. Everything disappeared when I enabled the plugin, making me think that all of my terms were deleted when they weren’t.

All in all, is anyone having this same issue in WordPress 6.1?

So, it has been 3 weeks with no response. I ended up trying different plugins to see if I could get the outcome I required for my site. I found that “YIKES Simple Taxonomy Ordering” was the plugin that achieved taxonomy ordering very easily with no complicated configuration. So if anyone else is having the same problem as me, you might try out a different plugin.
