Terrible documentation

  • I purchased the Custom Post Type UI Extended plugin and used the Grid with Overlay display option. I wanted it to look like the example on their website’s example layouts page, but mine came out with 2 images across and they are collapsed to about 30 pixels tall. There are no settings to control number of posts per row or the display height and there is no documentation as to how any of this could be configured. Their website makes it appear to be one of the built-in optional layouts. It looks like I will have to create a custom template.

    We definite can and will be taking the feedback above in stride to work on improving documentation and around our Extended plugin. However, CPTUI-Extended is a separate plugin from Custom Post Type UI here, and giving CPTUI a 1-star feels pretty unwarranted and inaccurately representative of your valid complaints about Extended.

    We’ll do what we can to help out with resolving any lingering issues you have or proceed with refunds if that’s ultimately requested for that premium purchase.

    I agree this is not really the place to put that rating as it really applies to your premium add-on. So, considering that, I will change the rating to a 4.
