Terrible doesn’t cover it, destroyed my stuff

  • Upgraded to 5.x, opened a page, inserted three words, clicked the Link icon, typed the web address, clicked to open in a new tab, BOOM! Page gone. Finally found the page, it had removed the data, title, slug, everything.

    Rolled back to a previous revision, saved page, all good. Tried again, BOOM! This time can not roll back. Try and try again, can not roll back.

    Install classic editor plugin, tell it to grab the previous revision of the destroyed page, no problem. Enter the same three words, highlight and create link, save page, no problem.
