Terrible! It's taken me several hours to clean up the mess this has caused!

This is a terrible plug-in. Clearly I didn’t read the description properly. I quote from the description “With our new WordPress plug-in you can automatically create Bitly links for new posts” which is exactly what I wanted it to do. However, what I missed is the second FAQ where it mentions that it also automatically creates links for your old posts when someone visits them.

This is not what I want since I already have bitly links for my existing posts. If there’s any way of turning this useless functionality off, I can’t find it. As a result, this plug-in has created literally hundreds of unwanted bitly links which are now cluttering up my bitly account. As far as I know I’m going to have to archive them all, one-by-one. Thanks, bitly, for creating all this extra work for me.

Suffice to say I’ve deleted it and won’t be installing it again.
