• Installed it and it just hangs in the screen that I need a consumer key. Hitting the link to get my key just keep my browser spinning. When you try to click back on the “Plugin” menu it refuses and continue to display the error. I almost thought my whole site got corrupted by this thing and I will have to start my site from scratch.

It just won’t let you do anything, you cannot even try to start a new post, new page, edit. Everything is down because installing this plugin. How ridiculous!!!!

Fortunately I go to FTP and delete the wordlift directory by brute force and then WP disabled this plugin.

Do not install this, waste a whole hour troubleshooting. Crazy developer who don’t test their code.

    Hello dpoon2000,

We’re very sorry about the awful experience you had with the plug-in.

WordLift is more complex than many other WordPress plug-ins as it uses server-side functions to analyze the Blog posts and deliver Linked Open Data entities.

We are experiencing a huge interest by the community and we’re growing fast, some systems might have been not responding while the plug-in was being installed, activated and configured.

In any case we do not change any posts data in the database nor in the file-system, and your Blog was never under threat.

We’re gathering many feedbacks from users and we’re working to improve the user experience with the plug-in. We would love to have you among our users and make WordLift work for you as well, either now when we’re still fine tuning the platform, or as soon as the solution becomes fully reliable.

    All the best,
    David
