    Heya,

So about two weeks ago I moved from wordpress.com to www.ads-software.com, but my problem is that I’m getting terrible traffic even though I have almost two years’ worth of content. I’ve been getting only around 10-20 hits last week but now I’m only getting around 4-5. On wordpress.com my average was about 250 hits a day.

I don’t know what to do. My site is getting indexed by google, but I’m getting minimal search engine traffic.

I’ve tried pingomatic.com and other blog directories but still nothing. I’ve got WP supercache, xml sitemaps and the seo optimization plugin. The wordpress.com stats plugin is telling me all this by the way.

    Site is https://wavegaming.net/

    Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

If you changed domains when you moved, it could take Google up to a year to reindex everything, and if no one is linking to your new domain, your page rank will suffer for a while.

Keep in mind that you’ve also left behind all of wordpress.com’s social exploration features, like Freshly Pressed, the tag browser, and the site-wide “Like” button.

Man that sucks. There goes my motivation for posting.

Just to be sure get a “second opinion” with a different stats plugin:

Thanks! I now have three stat monitoring plugins and all of them seem to have different results. The other two besides the .com plugin shows that I have been getting hundreds, but could they be counting the crawler visits as well? I don’t know.

    Thanks for you help!

I know that SlimStat doesn’t count crawler visits, so you’re definitely getting most of your old audience.

889 visits by 150 unique ips? And I told it to exclude mine. So I guess that’s a good thing.

It sounds like you’re on the right track.
