    Hi there,

    Firstly, I must congratulate you on such a great plugin. I know that it has been ported from another one, but you’ve improved it so incredibly well that I could implement it on my site very quickly. I love it.

    However, the latest update to Version 1.3.9.3 causes a problem and the pages no longer successfully open. I have no idea why but I’ve rolled it back to Version 1.3.9.2 again. Everything OK again now.

    I have always used it in combination with Relevanssi and Dave’s WordPress Live Search without a problem. Not sure what the reason is why it no longer works with the latest update, but I’d be happy to provide access or more information.

    Thank you!!

    To be clear, what I mean by no longer open -> I get a completely blank page with search results or when opening a FAQ.

    OK I’ve managed to try an upgrade again. Once again unsuccessful but this time I captured the message (which I forgot before).

    Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘[myinstallpath]/wp-content/themes/definition-child/index.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear’) in [myinstallpath]/wp-content/plugins/q-and-a-focus-plus-faq/inc/functions.php on line 96

    (I changed [myinstallpath] for security reasons and it probably won’t matter anyway)

    Not sure if that provides a more useful indication as to what’s wrong?

    I am having same issue with similar error code for line 96

    Geoff thanks for sharing, that confirms I’m not going crazy ?? Let’s wait for the developer(s) to get back here. Hopefully it’ll be resolved with a Version 1.3.9.4!

    This was because of the change that was made to make it compatible with some child themes. I have released 1.3.9.4 to correct the issue and set it back to the way it was.

    Anyone having problems with child themes displaying the FAQs will have to correct their theme so that the parent is considered the template of the child theme.

    Hi, thanks for your prompt reply and thanks for the updated version!

    I am using a child theme, based on a parent theme by Woothemes, who in my eyes are proper theme developers, so I’m not entirely sure how we could address this incompatibility with that 1.3.9.3 change in the plugin? Happy to test it for you (on my test server) if you think that’s of use.

    Thanks again. Glad I can continue making use of this fantastic plugin! And I’ve left you positive feedback. Good support deserves to be rewarded.

    The child theme’s style.css file should have the template listed in the theme info (Template: PARENT TEMPLATE NAME), like this:

    /*
    Theme Name: Twenty Fourteen Child
    Theme URI: https://example.com/twenty-fourteen-child/
    Description: Twenty Fourteen Child Theme
    Author: John Doe
    Author URI: https://example.com
    Template: twentyfourteen
    Version: 1.0.0
    Tags: light, dark, two-columns, right-sidebar, responsive-layout, accessibility-ready
    Text Domain: twenty-fourteen-child
    */

    @import url(“../twentyfourteen/style.css”);

    /* =Theme customization starts here
    ————————————————————– */

    I would double check all of that before doing anything else. I only had one person say TEMPLATEPATH was not working, so my best guess is that there is something wrong with their child theme information. I am using child themes on all of my sites and have not had any problems.

    Thanks for the feedback by the way!
