Tesseract Header Menu Font Change

    I’ve tried to figure this out over the past few weeks, as I have with everything on my site, but alas, I’m stumped. My url is as follows:

    I am trying to change the font on my header menu (on all pages), and cannot figure out how to do it. I owe whoever can help me with this big time.

  • Sorry, ubik76, but I don’t. I’m still pretty new to this, myself, despite my lucky stumble upon the menu solution.

    qbalaconcept fix worked for me, however i cannot differentiate the header from the footer. Generally speaking a website footer is always smaller and less noticeable. With the nav-menu put in the css selector its changing ALL navigations. Is there anyway to separate them?

    Thought this link might be helpful and add value to the conversation. Tyler (tesseract creator) provided another video 2 months ago and it includes detailed steps for changing the header font, size, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUaiHOQfIgs It’s around 2hr:11min. Thank you @qbalaconcept for the solution you provided as this is what helped me initially.

    Howdy

    To take off the “Theme by Tyler Moore” at the right of the footer, go to Appearance> Editor> Themes Function (functions.php).

    Click on page and hit Cntl-F and type in “Theme By”.

    printf( __( ‘ Theme by Tyler Moore %s’, ‘tesseract’ ), ‘‘ );

    Erase the Themes by Tyler Moore (remember the spaces), then in the same area put what you want.

    Next to that there is ‘‘ );the space between the two arrows should be non existent, as this will unhinge the link.

    All done. I hope this helps.

    Hey guys,

    My problem is not the font itself that i figured out, but on the header menu the default hover colour once i pass with the mouse on the links it’s blue, can anyone point me how to change this colour?

    Hello , i instaled the Teseract theme and would want to add a full width photo slider in the header of the first page. Does anybody know a plugin for that ?

    Let me be more specific: I figured out how to change all the fonts under appearance>customize>typography. Changed all to the same font which is a google font name Catamaran. I tried several versions of

    1) Go to dashboard > settings > Google Fonts.
    2) Click, “create a new font control.”
    3) Name it, “Main Menu” (Name it as you like)
    4) Click the “Create Font Control”
    5) In the “Add CSS Selectors” box type “.nav-menu”
    6) Click “Save Font Control.”

    but I can’t get my Menu and Drop down menu to change to Catamaran.

    Any ideas?

    I upgraded my Teseract theme to my WordPress web site and now I cannot get into the admin area to change anything. In addition, every page on the site has the following across the top. I use Beaver Page Builder who deferred to Tesseract. I contacted Teseract and they said they had not seen this before and would work on it. No feedback from them since. Any help?
