Tesseract Theme Home Slideshow Instead of Static Image

  • Hi all and thanks in advance for any help. I’m new to WordPress and I’m working on the Tesseract theme by Tyler Moore. I would like to have a slideshow instead of a static image for the main image on the home page. I would like to have static text and the company logo that hovers over the top of the slideshow, but not included in it. Can someone help me with how to accomplish this?

  • Hi! I was wondering if anyone answered you or if you managed to figure it out – I am having the same problem. I found a Tyler video but its really dated (2012!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVYQ0hFlbpk) – I am using tesseract 2 and also want the homepage to have a slideshow. I might just find a good plugin and see if its compatible but if there is an easier way better.

    I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.ads-software.com here.

    @inesguarda I actually ended up using a plugin as well. I used the RFWB slider and it has been working really well. I tried a few others but this was the best fit for the site I was building. Hope that this helps. ??

    @esmi Figured that out pretty quick as a newbie to WordPress, as my post went ignored for months. I’ll know better next time.
