I installed the plugin on multiple sites that are on a DO server via Cloudways, Varnish is enabled and basic setting of Breeze, but when I click the test cache button in the settings of Super Page Cache for Cloudflare, they all give this error.

Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.

Error on dynamic page (https://swi.ie): The plugin is not detected on your home page. If you have activated other caching systems, please disable them and retry the test.

Error on static resource (https://swi.ie/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html): Cache status: DYNAMIC – The resource was not cached by default and your current Cloudflare caching configuration doesn’t instruct Cloudflare to cache the resource. Instead, the resource was requested from the origin web server.

Please check if the page caching is working by yourself by surfing the website in incognito mode ’cause sometimes Cloudflare bypass the cache for cURL requests. Reload a page two or three times. If you see the response header cf-cache-status: HIT, the page caching is working well.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Looking at the response header of your website: https://i.imgur.com/gFOYYtJ.jpeg I don’t see this plugin being active on your site as when this plugin is active it adds a couple of things in the response header.

But it seems you are using Cloudways cache which might be causing conflict.

Hi, thanks for the reply, the plugin is definitely activated and connected to Cloudflare using the API key, as I use it to flush the Cloudflare cache. If I turn off Varnish and Breeze plugin in Cloudways, the server response time will go from under 200ms to a multiple of that. Will your plugin mean a cache hit on Cloudflare for every visitor and will the response time be as fast as Varnish on Cloudways? Or should I just pay for Cloudflare APO?

I’m not saying that you don’t have the plugins installed. I’m saying that the plugin is not able to work properly on your website as when the plugin works properly it adds a couple of things in the response header which is completely missing. So, it might be possible that as you have Breeze setup, that’s is causing conflict and not letting this plugin work properly.
