Test Email Does Not Work

I didn’t see a solution in the previous email about test mail not working.

I too set up a gmail email account according to the instructions and the test mail did not go through. I checked sent mail even though I wasn’t sending it to myself.

I then set up another email that goes through godaddy and used all the correct server information. After attempting to send test mail got errors such as the following:

I only have simple:press install and HGK SMTP is proven to work on the simple press site.

How can I fix this?
