Test Email Functionality Broken (Critical Error After WP 5.5)

    Hi there!

    After updating to WP 5.5, we can no longer use your plugin’s test email functionality. It’s broken.

    Brought up this issue with WP (click here for details).

    It appears WP 5.5 will now require affected plugin developers to update their plugins to fix this issue.

    Fix appreciated!

    Update:

    Problem solved. Issue caused by the WP SMTP Mail plugin (V2.0.1 and below) AND not having the related action_scheduler database table(s) installed which are required for woocommerce sites. Ours is not a woocommerce site so never had to update from V2.0.1 to V2.2.1.

    Quite amazed that one plugin would affect many others (in combination with WP 5.5).
