I am using the WP Mail SMTP plugin. Basically, it seems to work, because the test emails are sent (WP Mail SMTP > Settings > Email Test).

But when a visitor fills out the contact form, it doesn’t seem to work: Neither I as a site owner nor the person who fills out the form receive a confirmation email.

My settings in WP Mail SMTP :
    From email: [email protected]
    From name: Inavarde Wines
Set the return-path to match the From Email: Yes

    Other SMTP:
    SMTP host: inavarde.wine
    SSL: Yes
    SMTP port: 465
    Auto TLS: Off
    Authentication: Yes
    SMTP username: [email protected]

On Namecheap, I added these 2 DNS records:
    Type: TXT record
    Host: _dmarc
    Value: v=DMARC1; p=none; fo=1; rua=mailto:[email protected]

    Type: TXT record
    Host: @
    Value: v=spf1 +mx +a +ip4:85.117.38.208 ~all

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hi @inavarde

Thank you for reaching out to us and we’re sorry to hear that your aren’t receiving your contact form notifications.

Normally when the test email goes through, but the contact form notifications are not, this means that there may be an issue in your notification settings.

We noticed that you are using WPForms, so we would recommend referring to this section of their documentation to ensure that everything is set up correctly.

As a quick test, you can also create a new contact form with the default notification settings to see if that fails to send emails as well.

Lastly, we would recommend editing your original post so it doesn’t include your email address.
