Test email sends but nothing else

    I could not receive email notifications. I was able to receive them when I used the Test send button, but it would not send when I published, or updated a post. I read the docs and it informed me it wouldn’t work with members plugin which I do need to use in the end.

    I deactivated the members plugin as per the documentation but it would still not work.

    I did not attempt to use SMTP work-arounds as you stated here because it was sending fine when I sent the test email. Shouldn’t they both not work if that was the case?

    Hi @yourschools,
    Thanks for your message.

    I do actually think your problem might be resolved if you setup an SMTP plugin.
    The test email works 99% of the time, because it’s route is more direct than that of a standard notification.

    Try an SMTP plugin and let me know how you get on.

    Thanks Jack, I added a DKIM and configured the SMTP plugin. I am now receiving emails on My New Post Published but I am not receiving on New CPT Publish. I will create a new thread to keep them separate so you can check this resolved. thanks for your continued support.
