• Hello,
The plugin is installed in a managed wordpress site automatically. Latest version.
I have created a form and setup fields etc. I want the email to be sent on a gmail account.
Using the Send a Test Email function on the Tools menu sends a test email normally.
However when I try to send through my form the email never arrives.
The site has no email service so I cannot use the Return-path address.
Both WordPress and PHP methods send the test email but none the normal one.
    Any ideas?

    Hello,
I actually checked the faq before creating the post. Thats why I mentioned the return path address. In the faq there is no suggestion on why I can send the test email but not the normal one from the form.

Hi, some have reported issues when trying to send e-mails to Gmail accounts as well as Hotmail and Yahoo. You might like to test the following plugin postman smtp.

Reading WordPress emails are sent but not received might help.

I cannot use the Return-path address.

Don’t set it. As per RFC2821, setting a Return-Path may get your message binned:

A message-originating SMTP system SHOULD NOT send a message that already contains a Return-path header.

unfortunately I cannot add plugins as the site is in managed wordpress installation and I am not allowed to. I will try ot send on a different address. However I want the form to send in all addresses as I dont know what address a visitor will have.
