  • Hi, can you carry out this simple test. Can you disable our plugin, then carry out a test with your WooCommerce plugin. What happens?

    keep the same error:

    invalid address (setFrom), with this test I can conclude is not a problem on your great plugin.

    But how can I solve this problem of invalid address?

    Cheers.

    Hi. It looks like this issue related with PHP version 7.3. We will investigate this, just need to setup PHP 7.3 on our test servers first.

    If you can downgrade your PHP vesion to 7.0 branch and try again, everything should be working fine.

    Hi Alexander,

    Ok we will test now and I let you know.

    Hi Alex,

    I did the test with 7.0 php but still not working, any idea?

    Many thanks.

    I’m yet to test this with PHP 7.3.

    Meanwhile, if you enable debug log, does it says something useful?

    Nothing useful, I’m using WP Mail Log, to debug, always the same error, invalid address (setFrom), but when I resend using Wp Mail Log, works properly.

    I mean debug log built-in into Easy WP SMTP – Settings -> Easy WP SMTP, “Additional Settings” tab, Enable Debug Log option.

    wp-admin/?swpsmtp_action=view_log

    give me empty page.

    Click “Clear Log” first, then do an actual email sent from your WooCommerce and then try to view logs.

    only this:

    Easy WP SMTP debug log file

    If it’s still empty after you sent an actual email (no the one from “Test Email” tab), it means your email stuff is not handled by Easy WP SMTP.

    I got your question, here is the log, but I just can sent this email using the function resend on WP Mail Log:

    Easy WP SMTP debug log file

    Maybe this is the problem:

    CLIENT -> SERVER: From: WordPress <[email protected]>

    Because is a multisite installation, and the domain of this site is reartu.bike, under ComCart as multisite service, maybe that’s are creating the problem?

    This log indicates that email was successfully sent.

    Maybe this is the problem:

    CLIENT -> SERVER: From: WordPress <[email protected]>

    Shouldn’t be a problem as it doesn’t produce the error you described in your initial post. And this email was successfully sent as I can see from the logs.

    What I was asking is for logs that produce error message from your initial post.

    PS: Please either edit out personal info (email, website addresses etc) or just remove the log completely from your message.
