Test message not sending, batch not sending either

    When I send the test message I get a red X instead of a green check. The newsletter sending is not going out either. We updated ALO this morning, deleted the test newsletter and readded and still no luck. This has been happening since Tuesday of this week. The Tuesday and Wednesday sendings have zero views (never happens) so it is likely the messages didn’t go out. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Further review shows a different site is not having the same problem. It is likely a plugin conflict. I will post more info as I have it.

    Found the resolution. Looked to see if it was a conflict with another plugin, but was actually a conflict within a theme file, most likely related to theme updates and shortcode references with a theme template.

    Further research indicates an old plugin Portfolio Slideshow (no longer in the repository) is not compatible with ALO. My theme template pulled the shortcode (do_shortcode) and that’s what was causing the error.
