• Sorry, but this problem drives me crazy. I was trying to install a new environemnt. I installed a few plugins as well (one being a Redirect plugin).
I played with a few new pages, one being called “Test” ??
For some reason, this page now replaced the posts on the frontpage and I have no clue, where this redirect comes from. I deleted teh Redirect plugin, deleted the files, dropped the corresponding tables from the DB, set the main page (in the Settings-Reading) again to default but nothing actually helps.
I am desperatly looking for a place, where this redirect comes from but I have no clue…
Is somebody able to help me. Seems to be fairly sticky…

  • Have you tried:

    – checking through Troubleshooting WordPress 3.1 – Master List

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Thank you. I tried all of that over the course of the day ??
To make matters worse. I completely de-isntalled WordPress, deleted all the files and re-installed everything (to the same directory) and the redirect is still there. So I guess that one of the plugins configured the webserver…. I have to see with the support
    Thank you
