    I am using the Simple Contact form, and I cannot get it to send mail.

    I have installed WP Mail SMTP and its test mail works like a charm, but the actual WPForms form does nothing, other than indicate that the email was sent successfully.

    I have checked the notifications and as far as I know all the fields are correctly defined.

    Incredibly frustrating.

    Any idea would be welcome.
    Thank you!

    More info in case it helps….
    NOTIFICATIONS FIELDS
    Sent to email = [email protected]
    From Email = {field_id=”1″}
    Reply to: {field_id=”1″}
    Message = {all_fields}

    WP Mail SMTP SETTINGS
    from email = [email protected]

    Hi jbendiner,

    Thanks for sharing those extra details, and I believe I see the issue.

    The From Email in your form settings (in the form builder under Settings > Notifications) will need to match the email address you used to set up the SMTP. So while you can send form notifications to any email address you’d like, the From Email must be the same as SMTP email.

    Once these match, the form emails should start delivering successfully.

    I hope this helps!
