However WordPress 4.9 has been released, and there is no indication whether WiziApp is doing anything to ensure compatibility by testing on more recent WordPress versions.

Hi, The current Wiziapp plugin is compatible with WP 4.9, we will upload an updated plugin (with some new features) soon and we will update the “tested up to” to 4.9.
