    Hi,
I am loving the plugin and it has met my needs very well so far. I do however have a small issue, relating to the specific testimonial posts.

Beneath the Testimonial is a box showing my name. How do I remove this?

When someone reads the testimonial, I only want them to see the Testimonial, the title and the client name. Much the same as how the Testimonial is displayed from the shortcode on Testimonials page. Instead the page is presenting like a Blog or something and only showing the content and title? There is no Category or name of the person who sent the testimonial. How do I fix this?

    Many thanks

Thanks, I’m glad to hear it’s working well so far.

That is your theme’s single post template. It is largely out of the plugin’s reach (WordPress enforces a separation of concerns) except for being able to append custom fields to the content with a view in “Single Template” mode. Plus, every theme is coded differently so a universal approach is not feasible yet.

With some HTML and PHP skills and knowledge of the WordPress template hierarchy, it is possible to create a custom single testimonial template by copying and modifying the single post template.

Consider hiring a developer for 1-2 hours to build that for you.

Thanks Chris. I am using Ronneby theme so I will go back to them to see if they can remove the box.
Otherwise, all seems to be OK.
    Thanks again

I just wanted to add a comment, you wrote this some time ago, and I think it would also be useful for this blog post, also.

“Our post type is ‘wpm-testimonial’ so the filename would be ‘single-wpm-testimonial.php’.”

I couldn’t get the custom post type to work at first. ??
