Testimonial Plugin from Axelerant cuases Apache to fatally error & not load PHP

  • Testimonial Plugin from Axelerant causes Apache to fatally error & not load PHP services The error is “error: Call to undefined method Testimonials_Widget::version_check() in /Applications/wordpress-4.2.2-2/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/testimonials-widget/testimonials-widget.php on line 94” – I am running Bitnami wordpress stack locally on Mac OsX Yosemite 10.10. The only workaround I could find was to delete the entire Plug in Director.
