• The Testimonials List Gutenberg block contains several formatting problems, depending on the theme selected.

    Classic:
    1. The name of the testimonial’s author is rendered within the border of the next testimonial in the list, just above the testimonial’s title.

    2. Selecting Show Ratings => Do No Show still shows all five rating stars without indicating the actual rating, if any. For sites which don’t solicit, or allow for, ratings, this is a problem.

    Compliments:
    1. The ratings are displayed when Do Not Show is selected.

    Ribbon:
    1. The name of the testimonial’s author is not rendered.
    2. The ratings are displayed when Do Not Show is selected.

    Easy Testimonials 3.5.1.
Site built with Oxygen Builder 3.1.1
    Wordpress 5.3.2

    Thank you.

  • I’m having a similar problem with the Grid block using the Classic theme. The Testimonial Title is displaying even though I have not selected it to display and the ratings display even though I have selected Do Not Show. I’m not sure if it is a conflict with my theme? I’ve tried using the shortcode show_rating=”0″ but that does not fix it. The page I need help with is https://acenights.com.au/testimonials/?preview_id=7437&preview_nonce=bdff548062&_thumbnail_id=-1&preview=true

@marksjo: It does the same thing with the standard Twenty Twenty theme. I’m going to try disabling plugins later this afternoon – U.S. East Coast.

yes i just tried show_rating=0 as well – I have also checked the box not to show it – I have written a support comment for four added things I would like to remove and only found a solution to the date issue. SMH I detest “improvements” that have to be, and cannot be removed. Improvements should be optional.
