    Hi Mihaela (@mplusb)

    Am Using version 2.5.4 of Strong Testimonials Plugin.
    The testimonials when entered through a Mobile do not reflect or get accepted. Doesn’t throw an error or even a success message & the writer gets an expression that its submitted.

    However, there’s is no problem when submitting the testimonial on a PC/Laptop. The success message is shown & it immediately reflects in the Admin Dashboard.

    Please let me know if there’s a solution to this.

    Thank you for reaching out!
    I just tried submitting testimonials both through mobile and desktop and neither worked.
    Is it possible to send a screenshot with your Form settings? You can send them over through our form here or paste them on this support thread using a service like Imgur, Pastebin, or Dropbox.

    I just submitted a testimonial through my laptop & it’s successfully showing in the Admin Dashboard. Have uploaded it in the same link i shared in my previous message.

    Did you get a chance to see the screenshots I shared?
    Appreciate if you can see and suggest a solution immediately?
    See, people these days are using mobiles to do most of thier work and with me too, so many people have submitted thier testimonials fir me but NONE Received and am losing because of it.

    Hi Manish!

    Thank you for sending the screenshots – they helped.
    I tested this on my end with the same settings you have and it worked on my test site.
    This leads us to believe this may be a plugin incompatibility. The one that I think may cause such an issue would be the plugin that enables Google reCaptcha. Could you please turn that off and try again?
    If that does nothing, we need to debug further and my next recommendation would be to turn off all plugins except ST and try to add a testimonial through mobile.

    Wish you a very Happy New Year !

    I tried without deactivating any plugins and I was able to send it through mobile – 3 different mobiles and 3 different browsers (chrome,edge,safari).

    Only once it didn’t go and when retried, it was successful. So I feel it’s an intermittent problem or possibly a minor bug that gets activated – But I leave all this to you to inspect.

    Please do let me know your observations.

    There’s one more issue that I faced. The shortcode of the form when pasted in a mail message body doesn’t show the form. If you say so I can raise a seperate query for that.please let me know.

    Happy to hear it worked to submit testimonials!
    We will investigate this as well and see if it’s something we are able to replicate on our end as well.

    As for the shortcode, unfortunately this is not possible at the moment, I’m sorry.

    Am requesting you to re-open this support ticket.

    I had been busy for a few weeks & today only i tested it thoroughly.

    Google Recaptcha is not a problem at all. However, my form asks for a Image to be uploaded(*required) by the person writing a testimonial & that’s where the real problem is. Sometimes it accepts the image & sometimes it doesn’t(Only on Mobile)

    Now, i have removed/deleted the Image requirement from my form & each time its accepting a testimonial.

    Appreciate if you please suggest a solution to this ASAP.

    Hi Manish,

    Thank you for reaching back and for your feedback!
    This is most likely an issue from the images uploaded (could be too large, not accepted format), but such errors are not displayed on the front-end. Because of that neither us or the user submitting a testimonials does not know what happens exactly so it can be fixed.
    For the time being, I recommend leaving the form without an image field, and I will go ahead and open a ticket regarding this so our dev team can investigate further and add a way of displaying image related errors when a testimonial is submitted.

    Thanks for your response and initiating an action too on this.

    For Image Size & Format, I can give you my own experience of uploading a 118kb image in jpeg format and I was using Microsoft edge on my mobile.

    Before writing to you 3 days back, I actually removed the image field for the time being from my form.

    Let’s see how it goes.

    And I would await your response ( from your dev team) for a possible solution to include the image field.
