  • There is some Javascript in the testimonial content. Is that supposed to be there?

Hi Chris, thank you so so much for trying to help me with this ?? I am newish with wordpress. Javascript is also new to me. I have embedded Facebook posts on the full testimonial page could that be it? Otherwise I don’t think I would have done it on purpose>If you go to the website https://www.kingofrocks.com, I have put a testimonial link there just under the about king of rocks. Just hit “read more” to see the full page”

I’m certain that’s the problem and they’re also bogging down your site’s load speed. Each Facebook post loads some Javascript plus an iframe. The plugin wasn’t designed to accomodate that or to integrate with Facebook.

Chris you are my favourite person. I have removed the Facebook posts and it works. Do you know perhaps a testimonial plugin that would be a better fit.

Or rather is there a way i can get it to fit neatly somehow. As you can see it shows and takes up a ton of space. https://www.kingofrocks.com

I don’t know of one that works well with Facebook. GC Testimonials seems to have been designed for more business-to-business use.

Re: fit, are you referring to the widget? It usually goes in a sidebar. Can you describe how you would like it to look? Maybe we can accomplish it with CSS.

Hi there, yes I am referring to the widget. I tried putting the testimonials in the sidebar on my homepage but it throws everything off. It would be great to have it on the bottom left in the footer widget just under the link “About the king of Rocks”.

It works well as a footer widget but every theme is different. Contact me via the contact form at wpmission.com if you would like some help, otherwise this thread can closed as we have solved your original problem.
