Testing Gutenburg

    I have been unable to test the new Gutenburg editor.
    I have tried various plug-ins but none give me the + symbol to add any elements.
    I have the classic editor plug-in
    Disable Gutenburg with disable for pages and admin users unticked
    Gutenburg
    Gutenburg manager
    None of these have enabled me to get and menu item used by Gutenburg in order to test it.
    Can you please tell me where I am going wrong?

    You don’t need all of those plugins, just the Gutenberg plugin will do. Other plugins that are intended to deactivate it and such will probably prevent it from working.

    Try just using the Gutenberg plugin alone.

    Thank you. I did initially just try the Gutenberg plugin on its own and it said that it was activated but no new menus were available.
    I have now removed all the other plug-ins and it has come back to life.
