Testing Updates in a “Sandbox?”

  • Hey,
    I’ve got a blog that I’ve still got running 2.7.1, and I was thinking about upgrading to 2.8. I’ve got a fair number of plugins and I was worried about the update breaking compatability with some of them (even though I’m assuming it’s been improved in 2.8.x and whatnot). Is there any way I can clone my site and run a test update on it without having to take my actual page offline?
